LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE FLYER™ FOR E-BIKES
WHAT IS COVERED?
The Radio Flyer Company warrants that its Flyer™ e-Bike will be free from defects in material and workmanship occurring under normal use for the warranted period from the date of the original purchase:
Five (5) years: frame and fork (each a “Covered Component”)
One (1) year: defective lithium-ion battery (the “Battery”), stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware (each a “Covered Component”).
EXCLUSIONS
WHO IS COVERED?
This warranty only covers the original purchaser of the product, purchased exclusively on flyer.radioflyer.com. The warranty cannot be transferred to any other person. The product must have been assembled and maintained per the product instructions.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
This warranty does not cover:
- non-Flyer™ product (including MP3 players);
- misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, or other abnormal use; or use of the product other than for its intended purpose;
- damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance;
- products that have been modified or altered;
- cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or
- any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship, including normal wear and tear of any Covered Component
- Consumables or normal wear and tear parts (including without limitation tires, tubes, brake pads, cables and housing, grips, chain and spokes).
- Any damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the e-Bike owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the e-Bike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.
- For the avoidance of doubt, The Radio Flyer Company will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure, or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.
- The Battery is not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuses, normal wear, or water damage.
HOW DO I MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
The Radio Flyer Company WILL NOT REPLACE ANY COVERED COMPONENT UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WITHOUT FIRST SEEING PHOTOS OR VIDEO OF THE DAMAGED COVERED COMPONENT.
To exercise your right to receive a replacement for a Covered Component under this Limited Warranty, you must:
- Contact the Customer Service team by email at customerservice@radioflyer.com or by phone at 1-800-621-7613. Customer Service will work with you to diagnose the issue and identify solutions.
- If the Customer Service team determines that a Covered Component must be replaced, they will provide you with a set of instructions for returning the defective Covered Component and receiving the replacement. Replacement Covered Components under this Limited Warranty shall only be shipped to the address of the original purchaser.
- After you receive the replacement Covered Component, the Customer Service team will also assist in determining how to replace or install the new Covered Component into your e-Bike.
SHIPPING DAMAGE
Shipping damage claims are very time sensitive and it is the purchaser’s responsibility to immediately inspect the e-Bike for damage upon receipt. The Radio Flyer Company will replace a Covered Component that is damaged during shipment if you:
- Notify The Radio Flyer Company of a Covered Component damaged in the shipping process within thirty (30) days of your receipt of the e-Bike;
- Provide The Radio Flyer Company with a dated picture of the damaged Covered Component; and
- Return all original packaging and paperwork included with the e-Bike
The Radio Flyer Company will not be held responsible for stolen packages and the purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring the package is safely collected at delivery. LIMITED WARRANTY FOR THE FLYER™ DUOFLEX: MODEL 822Z
WHAT IS COVERED?
The Radio Flyer Company warrants that its Flyer™ bike trailer and double stroller will be free from defects in material and workmanship occurring under normal use for one (1) year from the date of original purchase, with the exception of the wearable components below, which have a thirty (30) day warranty period:
Thirty (30) days: normal wear parts including Tires, Inner Tubes, Bearings, Bushings, Housings, Grips, Paint Fading Caused by UV Light or Outdoor Exposure, Spokes, Stripped Bolts and Threads
EXCLUSIONS

WHAT IS COVERED?
The Radio Flyer Company warrants that its Flyer™ kid bike will be free from defects in material and workmanship occurring under normal use for the warranted period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase, with the below exceptions:
Five (5) Year: bike frame, front fork
30 Day Warranty Period: normal wear parts including Bearing Races, Bearings, Brake Pads, Bushings, Cables and Housings, Cassettes, Chain, Chainrings, Free Hubs, Grips, Paint Fading Caused by UV Light or Outdoor Exposure, Pawls, Rubber Moving Parts, Saddle, Saddle Cover, Seals, Spokes, Sprockets, Stripped Bolts and Threads, Tires, Tools, Tubes, Wheel Braking Surfaces
Note that proper maintenance and care will extend the lifecycle of your bike. Wear components will require replacement over time as part of regular maintenance schedule. Replacement components are available for purchase through Radio Flyer by emailing customerservice@radioflyer.com or calling 1-800-621-7613.
EXCLUSIONS
WHO IS COVERED?
This warranty only covers the original purchaser of the product. The warranty is only applicable within the country of purchase and the warranty will be null and void if the product is used outside of the country of purchase. The warranty cannot be transferred to any other person. The product must have been assembled and maintained per the product instructions.

This warranty does not cover:

- cosmetic issues such as fading or scratches from normal wear, or
- any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship, including normal wear and tear of any Covered Component

- Any damage or defects to Covered Components resulting from failure to follow instructions in the bike’s owner’s manual, acts of God, accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, commercial use, alterations, modification, improper assembly, installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bike as sold, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper follow-up maintenance.
- For the avoidance of doubt, The Radio Flyer Company will not be liable and/or responsible for any damage, failure or loss caused by any unauthorized service or use of unauthorized parts.
- Modification to the bike outside of the original design will null and void the warranty.

SHIPPING DAMAGE
Please note, The Radio Flyer Company uses a rigorous testing process to ensure our packaging will protect our product during shipment. Cosmetic damage to the carton is to be expected during shipment: note that the packaging is designed to absorb the wear of transport, while protecting the product inside. If you believe you received a damaged package, prior to contacting Customer Service, please open the package and remove the full contents of the package. If there is damage to part of the product, please contact Customer Service to receive a replacement part under warranty.

The Radio Flyer Company warrants that its Flyer™ e-Scooter will be free from defects in material and workmanship occurring under normal use for the warranted period from the date of the original purchase:
One (1) year: rear hub motor, deck or main body, vertical tube, handle bar, charge port, front fork and neck assembly
180 Day Warranty Period: dash PCBA, motor controller, battery pack, throttle and brake, headlight, taillight, battery charger, stomp brake
90 Day Warranty Period: front air tire, rear tire tread, reflective stickers, kickstand
